Chariot commence un programme de forage terrestre au Maroc

Chariot Energy, a small-cap transition energy company focused on Africa, has recently begun drilling the RZK-1 well targeting the Gaufrette prospect in Morocco. This area is estimated to contain approximately 10 billion cubic feet of potentially recoverable resources. In addition to this target, Chariot also has the opportunity to test a deeper target, which could increase the combined recoverable resources of the exploration project to 26 billion cubic feet.

“We are very excited to kick off this onshore drilling campaign, marking the start of our first of many exciting drilling operations for Chariot this year,” said Chief Technical Officer Duncan Wallace in a statement. “We continue to enhance the prospectivity on this license, as we see significant upside potential both near our high-grade well locations and beyond.”

Wallace went on to thank the operational team for their hard work in starting drilling within ten months of receiving the license, as well as ONHYM for their continued support and partnership. He concluded by saying, “We look forward to providing timely updates on the results.”

Chariot Energy’s drilling program in Morocco is part of their overall strategy to expand their presence in Africa and capitalize on the region’s vast energy resources. The company is committed to sustainable and responsible energy development and is excited about the potential for growth and success in this new project.

Stay tuned for more updates on Chariot Energy’s drilling activities in Morocco and their continued efforts to provide clean and reliable energy solutions in Africa.
